Monstrosities and Bizarre Creatures: The Lollipop Monster
Finally, some free time for a quick sketch! The whole week was a bit overwhelming but it’s all good. I was able to finish some animation shots and got myself a couple of hours to do some quick (but dirty) sketches. I was too tired to do anything, really, but I had to force myself to come up with something. I hate empty pages on my sketchpad so a bad sketch is better than nothing at all.
I’m gonna try and do more over the weekend. My hands are getting anxious and I’m scared of what they’ll do to me. (The last time my hands and I got into an argument, they stuck their fingers up my nose the whole day. It’s tough living with these things, I tell you.)

Creature design concept for a friend’s comic book. The brief was to create an insect that was so delicious, our ancestors hunted it to extinction. The catch was for it to look hideous. Hmm… I think it looks yummy enough.
